First Spyderco!

This is my first Spyderco. I got the SALT slip joint UK penknife, you know, in case I ever go to the UK. This is a definite improvement over my first "Imperial"? branded pen knife. (which got taken away from me the first time I brought it to school in grade 6 by the principal at school..."it wasn't me, I swear!" Anyway...)

A beautiful well made, easy to handle, sharp etc. knife. I haven't found the lack of a locking blade as a drawback. One can grip the grooves on the bottom and top of the blade quite securely. Clips well into the pockets of my jeans. slacks, my shirts or just loose in the pockets.
A very nice knife that I should use for a long time. I am little worried about sharpening it as that is not an area of my expertise. But I do do have a Spyderco sharpener V shaped thingie so I should be alright. Dealing with Cutting Edge Co. Online store was easy and simple. Good service all around. Thanks.
