It's a beautiful parang that seems well built. I like the weight and the design, and it arrived matching the photos and description. It's worth noting that the smooth wooden handle does require a careful grip to prevent slipping, and will easily produce blisters (on soft hands). This is not really a problem--just an observation. I will probably add a tether strap to ensure it doesn't fly out of my hand while swinging. The only critique I have is that it did not arrive very sharp. I can slide my finger along the blade without concern of getting cut. That is disappointing. I would have given 5 stars if it came razor sharp.
Please note, I bought this for camping, and have not had the opportunity to use it yet, so this review is based only off of the look and feel of the product.
