Honestly quite good quality considering the country of manufacture. I was expecting something made in North America so naturally I was disappointed in discovering this knife was made in China. As for the etching, nothing a good polish won't remove. I plan on purchasing a bowie knife from Cutting Edge and this experience hasn't changed my mind. The shipping was quicker than expected and packaging was great. I'll be more careful on the country of origin on my next purchase. All in all a good experience. 4.5 out of 5 . Thank-you Cutting Edge.
