King Japanese Waterstone #1000/F#4000 Combination KI-1000/4000KS2X

The 1000- and 4000-grit waterstones are resin-bonded aluminum oxide abrasives. You can go directly from a medium grit to a finishing stone by using the particles, which operate as progressively finer grits. They are an excellent option for sharpening softer tool steels or when the cost is an issue because they are reasonably priced and simply need a brief splash of water before use.
