Very kool little kukri.

I was looking for a cool, functional folding knife for EDC. I considered buying the Rajah II, which is quite simply huge. But I could not reasonably justify carrying such a scary thing unless I was a frequent camper/woodsman.

But the Rajah III is small enough for EDC, and the blade shape really does make it a great tool for cutting. The blade thickness also means this thing is extremely durable, and unlikely to bend if you accidentally drop it. I especially love the stonewash finish, and the tri-ad lock is far more secure than a standard liner lock. Good texture on the grip too. And from what I hear, the AUS10A is a quality high carbon stainless steel, which I didn't even know was a thing.

My only complaint is with the pocket clip. Cold Steel always makes them way too tight. Impossible to use. But after jamming the shaft of a screwdriver under it for a few hours, it loosened enough to be used properly. I also sanded the inner edges of the scales with 2000 grit sandpaper so it wouldn't cut/scrape into my fingers when gripping. Extremely easy modifications, now it's basically perfect.

So yeah. I recommend it. It's very cool, and very functional!

Big fan of the Tri-Ad lock, super strong lock that can be used 1 handed. Built to work wherever you are. Great pricing and fast delivery!
